The New Orleans Saints made headlines when they brought back tight end Jimmy Graham this offseason. So far, the reviews for the veteran have been mostly positive. He is a leader for the offense and can provide a unique role for the Saints, too.
During Sunday night's preseason finale, Graham made an unbelievable catch downfield on a throw from Jameis Winston.
Graham won't have the same burst that he had a decade ago, but the Saints don't need him to anymore. They have Juwan Johnson as their top overall athletic TE. They just need Graham as a solid blocker and red-zone target.
The vet showed off that exact role by catching a touchdown just a few plays after that huge catch against the Texans.
Fans loved Jimmy a long time ago. They still love him in 2023. It will be exciting to watch him play an intriguing role for the Saints this season. They have high expectations as an entire group this year.
