The Detroit Lions had one hell of a Thursday night this week. They went into Arrowhead Stadium on the night they raised their Super Bowl banner and beat the champs in primetime.
It was cause for celebration all over Detroit. Everyone had a fun night. I'm not sure anyone had more fun than Lions GM Brad Holmes though.
Yes, that's Detroit Lions General Manager Brad Holmes screaming "let's fucking go" on the NFL's Twitter page. You have to love it.
That was awesome, but Brad wasn't done yet. He found the Lions fans in the stadium and made sure they became part of the fun too.
Holmes is just a different guy in so many ways. Maybe it's becasue the Lions spent the last few years with buttoned up guys like Bob Quinn, who pretty much stayed out of sight whenever possible, but I've just never seen a GM that is as passionate and is so in with the players like Holmes is. It's really a sight to behold.
