The Tennessee Vols and the Texas A&M Aggies still have over a month to go until they meet in Neyland Stadium (October 14), but that looming matchup is receiving some attention this week thanks to a social media post from an Aggies player.
Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolen, a former five-star recruit who played part of his high school career at Powell High School (near Knoxville), posted a clip on his Instagram account on Thursday evening that featured Rocky Top playing along with the caption "one of my favs in the playlist".

That's certainly an odd thing for a Texas A&M player to be posting ahead of a matchup against the Vols.
It's especially intriguing because it's Nolen, a player the Vols recruited pretty heavily.
Earlier this summer, Nolen, who had seven tackles in Texas A&M's season-opening win against New Mexico, was named by the Knoxville News Sentinel as one of the players that received impermissible benefits from Jeremy Pruitt's staff.
According to the KNS report, Nolen received up to $3,000 during a visit in October 2020.
Nolen and his family denied the report, telling The Eagle's Travis Brown that it never happened.
No one knows but Nolen what the intent of the post was, but considering the history with Tennessee, it's reasonable to suggest that it's an attempt to troll the Vols.
