The Tennessee Titans are shaking up their roster after preseason Week 1, making a series of roster moves on Monday afternoon.

Tennessee parted ways with defensive back Chris Jackson, a Jon Robinson draft pick, while adding new faces to the roster. The Titans made the following transactions on Monday:

Signed to the Roster

RB Jacques Patrick

DL Kyle Peko

Passed Physical (removed from PUP list)

DB Josh Thompson

Placed on Injured Reserve

DT Shakel Brown

Waived

DB Chris Jackson

Running back Jacques Patrick is one of the team's more interesting additions. Patrick recorded 443 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, and 30 receptions last season for the San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL.

The signing comes two days after versatile back Jonathan Ward suffered an injury in Chicago.

With Jackson no longer in the picture, cornerback Kristian Fulton is the only player from the Titans' 2020 draft class still with the organization. Rookie cornerbacks Steven Jones Jr., Armani Marsh, L.J. Davis, and Eric Garror have all been having strong training camps and applying pressure on Jackson's roster spot.

All NFL rosters will need to be narrowed down to 53 players by Tuesday, August 29th.
