It's day seven of camp for the Detroit Lions and they've managed to stay relatively healthy so far. Just a few bumps and bruises. After two days of hard hitting in pads, the Lions will slow things down on Sunday. There will be no pads and practice will be a shorter day.
Here's today's injury report:
Penei Sewell showed up on the Lions injury report on Saturday and there was not a reason given at that time. We have that reason on Sunday. Sewell is in concussion protocol. He will be out until Wednesday per Dan Campbell.
Wide receiver Jameson Williams will be back at practice on Sunday after missing a couple of days. That's big to have him back. C.J. Gardner-Johnson will also continue to take part in practice as well. Emmanuel Moseley is still expected to be joining the team on Monday.
That's all we have for now. There was no word as to when Sewell got a concussion, but Campbell said he's doing well. So that's a bright side to all this. We'll have more injury news for you as news comes in.
