The New Orleans Saints have one of the best schedule slates in the NFL this season. On paper, they have a really good chance to perform well and take home the NFC South. Their biggest advantages may come at the quarterback position. Derek Carr is a proven, experienced starter, and he will face plenty of young, unproven arms this year.

Today, the Indianapolis Colts named rookie Anthony Richardson their starting QB. That means that the Saints will face all three rookie quarterbacks that were taken early in this year's NFL Draft.

Derek Carr and the Saints must take care of business in these type of matchups. Carr and the first-team offense looked quite impressive in their first drive as a unit against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday. now, they must build on it.

For the Saints, they can't underestimate these rookie QBs. Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson are both dual threat types that the Saints have struggled with over the past few seasons. Stroud is not as mobile, but he is a cerebral passer that has impressed the Texans staff so far.

The Saints will face Young and the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. Visiting Stroud and the Texans in Week 6 and the Colts in Week 8 will be the other two intriguing matchups versus rookie QBs.

All in all, the Saints are in a good spot after upgrading at QB during this offseason.
