Normally I wouldn't really pay much attention to what an celebrity might think of the Detroit Lions. I wouldn't report it like this. But this one is different becasue it's sort of a convergence between my two lives. Actor Quincy Isaiah plays Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson on the HBO show Winning Time. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. Isaiah is also a Muskegon, Michigan native and a Lions fan. He went on the Rich Eisen show this week and Eisen had him predict the Lions record for the 2023 season. Check it out.
Isaiah goes with 13-4. Not bad at all. That's like first round bye good. There's a chance that Isaiah is letting his heart talk more than anything, but he has reason to do that this year. The Lions are on the right track for seemingly the first time ever and they are expected to do big things. Will Isaiah's prediction be right?
