Franco Harris is one of the most iconic players not only in Pittsburgh Steelers' history but in the history of the NFL.

Harris passed away just days before his number was retired last December, marking the 50th anniversary of The Immaculate Reception.

And this Saturday, Harris will be remembered again, and made immortal in the Steel City:

Franco Harris to have Jersey Displayed

In the only home game of the Pittsburgh Steelers preseason, Franco Harris will have his jersey display unveiled in the Great Hall at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday at 5 p.m., around an hour and a half before kickoff.

The Jersey will hang in the stadium for as long as the Steelers live in Pittsburgh, which I would bet would be the duration of time.

Not only a Hall of Famer but a fantastic human, you can't find one person in football that has a bad word to say about Harris. As passionate a human as he was a player, he touched the lives of many with his play both on the field, and work in the community.

Harris will join only two other Steelers that have their numbers officially retired and on display in "Mean Joe Green" and Ernie Stautner.

The man that welcomes everyone to the city when you fly into Pittsburgh, between Harris' statue at the airport and now his Jersey at the stadium, his lore will be cemented in the city.
