The Denver Broncos have a former player who could have a new job soon.
The Broncos made a lot of changes this offseason, and one of them was cutting cornerback Ronald Darby. The move saved the Broncos $9.6 million in cap space, which was a no-brainer decision at the time.
Darby played 16 games for the Broncos in two seasons, in which he tallied 67 total tackles and nine pass deflections.
Now, the nine-year veteran is set to have a workout with the Houston Texans in what would be a surprising job for Darby. It would also be the perfect job for him too.
The Houston Texans have a very young secondary with players who have great potential, like Derek Stingley and Jalen Pitre. Darby can be that veteran.
Broncos sign K Brett Maher before camp begins
Right before camp begins, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton is sending a message to the locker room. You will need to earn your spot on the roster.
