It was chilly with a slight drizzle of rain in Westfield, IN, for Colts training camp Sunday, but that didn't stop a packed house of fans from showing their support.
With the team's preseason opener less than a week away, the Colts have been picking up practice intensity in preparation.
What were the biggest takeaways from the offensive side of the ball?
Anthony Richardson shines

Richardson added another day with the starters Sunday. And it was his best day of practice to date.
Which was the same statement many were sharing from Saturday's practice, so it's safe to say Richardson is stacking days. The first highlight play came in the team's first red zone work when he personally sent Michael Pittman Jr. in motion, and proceeded to roll out left and hit the WR for the touchdown.
Then, later on in practice during the team's full 11 on 11 periods, he rolled to his right and delivered a perfect ball to Alec Pierce for a roughly 40-yard touchdown. His best ball of the day would come when he rolled right in the pocket while also looking a defender off before delivering a dart to Kylen Granson in the back of the endzone.
Richardson stacking days, as the team approaches their 1st preseason game of the season, is nice to see. The QB is making quicker progress than anticipated, which I believe bodes well for his chances to be the team's starter come week 1 of the regular season.
The Colts seem decided on their starting O-Line

Heading into training camp there were multiple questions surrounding the Colts offensive line. And anticipation on the battles for the team’s starters at left tackle and right guard.
So far through camp though the Colts are yet to change the starters from Raimann, Nelson, Kelly, Fries, and Smith. Whether fans like it or not the Colts seem to be comfortable with that group and I would be shocked to see a different starting lineup there barring injuries.
Alec Pierce on pace for a monster sophomore season

The loudest reactions of Colts training camp so far have been on Richardson to Pierce deep balls. An occurrence that has already happened multiple times. Whenever Richardson has found the opening to go deep, it’s seemed to be Pierce on the receiving end. If Richardson is able to land the week 1 starting job, the WR I believe he’s built the best relationship with so far in camp is Alec Pierce.
More important than the highlight catches, though is the rate at which Pierce is creating separation on the back end. The Colts' defensive backs have struggled to contain him so far through camp. Camp standout Darrell Baker Jr. When asked which WR has made his life the hardest through camp he said "Alec Pierce."
Michael Strachan beginning to separate himself in WR roster battles

Michael Strachan being a standout during Colts training camp, has become a staple of his young career. This year the same has occurred as the past two days Michael Strachan has spent time with the 1st and 2nd teams as a WR. With both QBs beginning to look to him for back-shoulder opportunities.
The team's top 4 spots seem locked up with Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, and Ashton Dulin. With the WR 5 job leaning towards Isaiah McKenzie via his ability as a returner. This really only leaves one job up for grabs, and if the recent practices have said anything, Micahel Strachan has looked like the clear leader for the spot.
The Colts enter a lighter week of training camp as they will only practice twice as they prepare for their 1st preseason game in Buffalo Saturday.
