The Kansas City Chiefs may have something brewing at training camp.
This offseason, and a lot of the last offseason, there was the hype surrounding the uber-talented receiver Justyn Ross. Last year the Chiefs signed him as an undrafted rookie free agent, but he wasn't able to play due to an injury. He went undrafted because of his injury history, not because of what he is able to do on the field.
This offseason, we have gotten a sneak peek of what he can do when he is healthy. Not to mention he has the best player in the NFL, throwing him the football.
The Chiefs could have something brewing with these two at camp. The Mahomes-Tyreek Hill connection was amazing. Last year he didn't have that WR connection close to one like that. In 2023, he could be with Ross. The training camp videos we have been seeing would suggest their chemistry is great.
The Chiefs recently tweeted out a video of the two in practice with the caption "Building Chemistry." The video was of the two connecting on a beautiful pass play.
Now, of course, they still have to do it in an actual game before we can call it a dynamic duo. However, it never hurts to be overzealous about something like that. Then again, after giving Mahomes a random group of receivers last year, it seems like anyone-Mahomes is a dynamic duo.
