The Dallas Cowboys finally put the pads on Monday as they kicked off a new week of training camp practice. Well, one member of the roster paid the price.

Wide receiver Simi Fehoko suffered a quad contusion and missed Tuesday's practice. However, he's expected back at some point during the week.

It was a struggle for Fehoko to get reps during his first two seasons. He logged just seven offensive snaps as a rookie. Last season, Fehoko was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, once again slowing down his progression.

Fehoko was a star in training camp last season, and he's been turning heads this year as well. At 6'3" with sub-4.4 speed, Fehoko has the potential to be a dangerous weapon for the Cowboys and could earn a WR4 role in 2023, if he can get a rhythm and stay on the field of course.

It won't be easy, though, as second-year prospect Jalen Tolbert, 2022 Pro Bowler KaVontae Turpin, and even seventh-round rookie Jalen Brooks will have something to say about it.
