Take a backseat, Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers.
DeAndre Hopkins is the NFL's new hot topic. Especially when it comes to the Buffalo Bills.
Speculation regarding a Hopkins-Buffalo partnership has never been hotter than it is right now after Hopkins posted a Instagram reel with the lyrics to the chorus of Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier" entered in over a backdrop of Hopkins. Naturally, Bills Mafia -and much of the NFL world- have completely taken the reel and ran with it, since.
Well, the field of Hopkins suitors narrowed a little bit on Thursday. Per KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are not expected to be among the final bidders for Hopkins' services.
The Cardinals probably won't trade Hopkins within the conference. Teams typically like to minimize those kind of "reunions" because divisional/conference matchups obviously weigh more when it comes to making the playoffs.
So, the fact that both teams are AFC foes makes Wilson's report that much sweeter.
Especially when considering the fact that one of the teams is the Kansas City Chiefs.
Either way, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. But it really feels like Hopkins will soon be a resident of western New York.
