The Dallas Cowboys are creating quite the competition for RB2 with Malik Davis, Rico Dowdle, and two-time Super Bowl champion Ronald Jones.

Jones comes to the Cowboys with five years of NFL experience and two Super Bowl titles to his resume. Now, his contract details have surfaced per ESPN's Todd Archer, and like many of the deals the Cowboys have inked lately, it's extremely beneficial to them.

Just like edge rusher Takk McKinley, Jones gets a veteran salary benefit contract.

The former second-round pick got a one-year deal for $1.232 million with a 152,500 signing bonus and a base salary of $1.08 million. $150,000 of Jones' base salary is fully guaranteed and his cap hit is just $940,000.

Dallas executes yet another deal with a low salary and very few guarantees.

Jones is coming off a season where he only played in six games for the Kansas City Chiefs and registered just 70 yards rushing. So, he'll undoubtedly have plenty of motivation to show his worth and earn a role on the Cowboys' offense.
