Former Super Bowl champ visiting Titans this week

The Titans need him.

It has been well-documented that the Tennessee Titans have plenty of needs during this off-season. One under-the-radar need is at cornerback.

The Titans don't have a ton of experience at the position, and the depth is lacking. Kristian Fulton has shown impressive flashes. Roger McCreary still has time to develop. Past that, there is a lot of unknown.

The Titans may be trying to address that need this week, though. They are having former Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB in for a visit on Monday.

Murphy-Bunting is a proven starter at the NFL level.

The Titans need more of that in their secondary. Not to mention, he won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, too.

He was a massive piece to their impressive defense during that postseason run. Murphy-Bunting was the first player to have an INT in 3 straight playoff games since Ed Reed in 2003.

SMB totaled 188 tackles in four seasons with the Bucs.

Adding him would make plenty of sense for a team that needs more upside in the secondary.
