The Las Vegas Raiders let go of Derek Carr to go to the New Orleans Saints, and Jarrett Stidham to the Denver Broncos, so they needed a new quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers isn't heading to Las Vegas, because Jimmy Garoppolo is.

Per Mike Garafolo, the Raiders are closing in on a deal with Jimmy Garoppolo, who played for Josh McDaniels in New England.

Adam Schefter reported the deal is a three-year, $67.5 million deal, including $34 million guaranteed.

Garoppolo started 10 games for the 49ers last season and went 7-3. He has 14,000 yards and 87 touchdowns in his career, with a 40-17 career record.
