Titans make the perfect addition to new offensive line
The Tennessee Titans are in agreement with OL Daniel Brunskill as they continue to rebuild their 2023 offensive line.
Ran Carthon and the Tennessee Titans made another quality addition to the offensive line on Tuesday night, reaching an agreement with former San Francisco 49ers OL Daniel Brunskill.
Brunskill, who has 42 career starts over four NFL seasons, played on 518 offensive snaps for the 49ers in 2022 without a single penalty or sack allowed. In 2021, he played every single offensive snap for San Francisco.
Once again, Carthon brings a player he knows well to Tennessee, bolstering the offensive line with underrated, high quality pieces.
Brunskill is exactly what the Titans needed to add to their new offensive line. He's an extremely underrated name around the league and he has the experience and versatility to start anywhere on the field as a reliable pass protector.
Of Brunskill's 518 offensive snaps in 2022, 60 percent came at right guard, 18.3 percent came at left guard, 6.1 percent came at right tackle, and 3.3 percent came at center.
Here's a look at what Brunskill is bringing to the table for Tennessee:
Brunskill, who got his big break in San Francisco after playing for the San Diego Fleet in the AAF, will now get another opportunity to start with the Titans. For now, it's safe to view Brunskill as the Titans' starting right guard and replacement for Nate Davis.
This is such a good get for Tennessee, and the contract details (currently unknown) are expected to come at great value. Carthon continues to find legitimate difference makers that have had everything but an opportunity.
The Titans offensive line is slowly but surely starting to come together.
