Titans announce extension for veteran Pro bowler
The Tennessee Titans announce a contract extension for one of the team’s 2022 Pro Bowlers.
The Tennessee Titans capped off Friday with some positive news. The Titans are in agreement with long snapper Morgan Cox to a one-year extension.
Cox just wrapped up his 13th season in the NFL, and his second season in Tennessee. The University of Tennessee Product is considered to be one of the game’s best longs snappers, as he displayed in the NFL’s Inaugural Pro Bowl Games.
His Pro Bowl nod in 2022 marked was the fifth of his career. In two seasons with the Titans, Cox has yet to miss a game.
Cox led a special teams unit with rookie P Ryan Stonehouse and K Randy Bullock in 2022. With plenty of glaring holes along the roster, the Titans made sure to shore up the long snapper position before free agency kicks off on March 15.
