Oddsmakers reveal Texans’ win total projections for 2023 season

The Texans were one of the worst teams in the league in 2022, there's no denying that.
A new coach, presumably a new quarterback, and a slew of smart free agency signings seem to have the arrow pointed way up in Houston.
Nevertheless, One popular sportsbook is not sold on the Texans' chances to significantly improve in 2023.
DraftKings Sportsbook was recently released over/under for win totals in 2023.
The Texans are at the very bottom with the Arizona Cardinals, with the over/under win total currently placed at 5.5. The Texans have even odds at -110 for the over and under.
Keep in mind, this team won three games with the 2022 roster, and a ton of talent has already been added this offseason. A new coach, QB, and a much-improved defense should account for more than two extra wins.
Here are the Texans opponents in 2023:
HOME
ARIZONA CARDINALS
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
DENVER BRONCOS
CLEVELAND BROWNS
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
TENNESSEE TITANS
ROAD
ATLANTA FALCONS
CAROLINA PANTHERS
BALTIMORE RAVENS
CINCINNATI BENGALS
NEW YORK JETS
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
TENNESSEE TITANS
The Texans will have nine home games and eight road games. An additional factor in Houston's favor is that their schedule seems pretty manageable.
The AFC South is a mess right now, with the Jaguars heavy favorites and the other teams in rebuild/retool mode. This alone could benefit the Texans, earning the team a few more wins thanks to a down division.
What do you think about the projected win total of 5.5? It's understandable that the number is low considering there are so many unknowns. However, I believe substantial improvement is almost a foregone conclusion in 2023.
