As first reported by Jordan Schultz, the Tennessee Titans added depth to their defensive line on Tuesday with the signing of free agent defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson.

Johnson was a fourth round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2017 NFL Draft. After four years in Minnesota, Johnson spent time with the Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons from 2021-2022.

In 74 games and 21 career starts, Johnson has recorded 125 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 11 tackles for loss.

Johnson's one sack on the 2022 season came against the Titans in Week 8 when he brought down quarterback Malik Willis for no gain.

Johnson will join Jeffery Simmons, Teair Tart, Naquan Jones, and Sam Okuayinonu on Tennessee's defensive interior and compete for a spot on the 53-man roster.
