If you have somehow missed it, the Indianapolis Colts drafted a new franchise quarterback.

That quarterback is former Florida Gator, Anthony Richardson

Chris Leak, Tim Tebow, and Kyle Trask are some of the notable names that have come from Florida in the past two decades. And while Richardson isn't as decorated as those guys, he definitely has a chance to be the best NFL quarterback of the group.

And his former teammate in Trask knows that all too well.

"Really good, really good," Trask said when asked how he thinks Richardson will do in the NFL. "You know, obviously, a lot of people asked me about him and our time together at Florida. And I think, you know, he was just such a good kid to be around; very respectful, very hardworking, always and always eager to learn. And that's something you love to see from a teammate of yours. And you know, it's no surprise to me, everybody always asked me ' Did you know he was going to have the success he did?' And obviously, I tell them, that's no surprise to me.

"So, I think he's going to do some really good things."

Anthony Richardson was a tantalizing talent coming out of Florida. He had the height of a Daunte Culpepper, the arm talent of a Patrick Mahomes, all paired with the running ability of Cam Newton.

Having someone like Trask, who is entering his third year in the league, give assurance on the team's fourth overall pick, has to feel pretty good.
