2024 five-star linebacker Sammy Brown is one of the Tennessee Vols' top recruiting targets.

Brown, 6-foot-2/230 lbs from Jefferson, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 linebacker in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia.

The coveted recruit recently visited Tennessee and left Knoxville impressed by what the Vols have to offer.

Tennessee put themselves in a good position to land Brown, though Clemson and Georgia are still ultimately viewed as the favorites.

The Georiga native won't be making his college decision based on potential NIL deals. Brown told AtoZ Sports earlier this week that he plans to take advantage of what NIL has to offer, but he made sure to note that he'll worry about potential deals after he commits/signs.

"I'm gonna make my decision off of football and what place is going to develop me the best," said Brown to AtoZ Sports. "And then NIL comes in after I commit."

While Brown won't be making his decision based on NIL, he already knows what product he'd like to endorse once he makes it to college.

Brown, the owner of a sensational mullet, told AtoZ Sports in Nashville earlier this week that he'd love to endorse a hair product.

"I think I definitely gotta go with some kind of hair product," said Brown. "I think it would be really cool to get Head and Shoulders or something like that with the mullet. That would be pretty solid."

As for the mullet, Brown says it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

"I feel like I can't cut it off now," said Brown. "I feel like it's a part of me. I feel like when you think of Sammy Brown, you think of the good mullet so I feel like I can't cut it off now."

Maybe Spyre Sports, a collective associated with Tennessee, can get to work on potential hair product endorsements for Brown. It might not close the deal for the Vols, but it certainly couldn't hurt.
