It is easy to undersell the Las Vegas Raiders' signing of former New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers.

But Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams is making sure everyone knows just how good Meyers, who was often under-utilized in New England, actually is.

“I didn’t see him featured as much as maybe he should have been based on what I saw when [the Patriots] came here and we practiced against them [last summer], Adams said. “And so far, what I’ve seen from him now, he’s a pro. He’s got a lot of tools on the field, and the way he thinks about the game as a relatively young player is impressive to me, so I’m excited to work alongside him.”

Adams, never one to hold his tongue, knows what it takes to be an All-Pro player.

And to Adams, Meyers has that potential.

In 2022, Meyers totaled 67 receptions for 804 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games. Against Las Vegas, Meyers recorded just two catches for 47 yards.

When in the context of the Patriots' awful passing attack from last season, Meyers' production is somewhat impressive.

In Las Vegas, Meyers will have ample opportunity to show the style of pass-catcher he can be when given more offensive looks.
