When the 49ers picked Brandon Aiyuk in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft, expectations were sky-high. However, for many reasons, Aiyuk had a very up-and-down first two years in the NFL.

Last season, Aiyuk finally put it all together and had his breakout campaign. He exploded for 78 receptions, 1,105 yards, and eight touchdowns. Aiyuk has all the tools you would look for in a star receiver, and going into his fourth season, he seems poised to take another leap.

Aiyuk has been extremely confident this offseason and, in a recent interview, claimed that he is ready to take off.

Aiyuk's confidence is not coming out of nowhere. Many of his teammates have spoken about Aiyuk's incredible start to the offseason.

Deebo Samuel recently sounded off on what he is seeing out of Aiyuk

"You can't cover him in a phone booth right now… Just me personally seeing Brandon from a rookie until now, he's gotten better day in and day out. Every season he's got better, and just like, I'm seeing flashes of stuff that I ain't seen him do. Like how fast he is now. How he's supposed to be, and the separation that he can get in and out of routes. You can tell he's really detailed his offseason and ready to go."

Deebo isn't the only high-profile teammate singing Aiyuk's praise. Here is what George Kittle had to say

“He dominates the guy across from him. He’s catching everything they throw at him. He’s making big plays and he brings a lot of excitement to our offense. He brings a lot of energy to the offense, too. We’re missing a couple of guys who aren’t practicing, but when he’s in the huddle when he’s out there making plays, the whole team loves that stuff, and we love seeing him make those plays.”

Kittle went on to say that he is very confident Aiyuk will have another huge season:

"He had over 1000 yards last year," Kittle said. "I'm not a betting guy, but I would say that he's going to definitely get over 1,000 this year. He's going to score a lot of touchdowns. He's going to make a ton of big plays for us."
