Playing quarterback in the NFL requires a unique skillset, both physically and mentally. Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is gearing up for the most important year of his career, but he isn’t letting his on-field duties get in the way of accomplishing a major feat off of it.
Fields, who was drafted by Chicago after three finishing his junior season at Ohio State, was able to return to Columbus, Ohio, and secure his college degree. Fields posted a picture of his degree to his Instagram story.
It’s pretty cool to see a 21-year-old with the level of maturity Fields possesses. He’s got plenty on his plate as it is, but graduating right before offseason workout programs are set to begin is another example of how different Fields is.
It’s becoming easier and easier by the day to see why the Bears are comfortable putting the future of the franchise into his hands at such a young age.
