The Denver Broncos are still making moves after the 2023 NFL Draft, but not everyone seen this coming this early.
The Denver Broncos cut outside linebacker Jake Martin on Wednesday, getting a head start on their process to go from 90 to 53 players.
The move saves Denver $3.8 million in cap space, per Over The Cap, with a $1 million dead-cap hit. This gives them just a bit more flex-ability.
Now the outside linebacker group will look like Christopher Allen, Nik Bonitto, Baron Browning, Jonathan Cooper, Randy Gregory, Thomas Incoom, and Aaron Patrick. Maybe now Incoom, the undrafted free agent, will have more of a chance to make the team.
