The Buffalo Bills could use more pass-rushers to pair with an otherwise young core, outside of Von Miller. After his traumatic ACL injury, the team just couldn't find success getting after the quarterback.

Brandon Beane and the front office have done their best to fill out the roster through the draft and free agency while navigating a difficult cap situation. However, their work isn't done quite yet.

There are a few notable free agents that could make an impact on the Bills' roster. Jadeveon Clowney, Frank Clark, Leonard Floyd, and Melvin Ingram are some of the more impressive options available to Buffalo that were discussed during a recent ESPN segment.

Damien Woody, a former player for the New York Jets, Detroit Lions, and New England Patriots turned NFL analyst discussed teams that should take a flier and sign one of the above-mentioned pass rushers.

Woody, without skipping a beat, brought up the Buffalo Bills and ran away with it. "I'm going to go with the Buffalo Bills. You know, last year in 2022 they were 11th in pass rush win rate."

Previously, the segment had discussed Clowney, Clark, and Floyd before Woody took control and went off script. Instead, Woody had another player in mind that could help take the team to the next level: Melvin Ingram.

"If you can get a pass rush compliment what they do offensively, it'll help boost that pass rush. I think that would be great and I think Melvin Ingram is a guy that in spot duty, as far as a pass rusher, could bring some juice."

Ingram is coming off a season with 22 total tackles, 6 sacks, and one forced fumble. The veteran pass rusher had spent the majority of his career with the Chargers before jumping around to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and then the Miami Dolphins last season.

Woody elaborated on why he chose the Buffalo Bills, discussing the Super Bowl window they find themselves in and the impact Von Miller had on the roster last season.

"I think that if you're a team that's trying to contend to win a Super Bowl, pass rushing is all about closing out games. We know that Von Miller is coming off that ACL injury from last season so adding more pass rushers would only help that pass rush for the Buffalo Bills."

Bills Mafia would most likely applaud Beane if he were able to pick up any of the players mentioned in the segment. The team needs help getting after the quarterback, and any one of those players would help just that.

We have a feeling there will be a few new names on the 53-man roster once the season officially begins.
