The NFL is in the middle of another frustrating controversy for organizations and fans around the league. The NFL announced that their plan to allow Thursday Night Football flexing has been approved, so it will be implemented. Giants president John Mara isn't happy about the decision by the league.

He does not believe that a team or its fans should be subject to potential swapping of a game onto Thursday night from the weekend. Giants president John Mara isn't happy about the decision by the league.

“To flex a game back to Thursday night, to me, is just abusive and I am adamantly opposed to it… "People make plans to go to these games weeks and months in advance. To say, ‘Sorry folks, that game you were planning on taking your kids to Sunday at 1 o’clock, it’s now going to be Thursday night.’ I mean, what are we thinking about?” — Mara

Mara focused more on the fans, and that point-of-view makes sense. Expecting folks with daily jobs and plans for weekends cannot just alter everything if the Giants' game gets moved on a particular week.

As for players, it will be a tough process if flexed to TNF. The preparation process is completely unique for it in comparison to a game on Sunday.
