The NFL has an easy decision involving the New York Giants that they need to make for the 2023 season.
And it has to do with the 2023 NFL schedule that will be released soon.
The NFL will reveal the 2023 NFL schedule on May 11. And when they do, there's only one logical choice for the first Monday Night Football game of the season.
It has to be the Giants vs the New York Jets (which is a home game for the Giants).
That's because the first Monday Night Football Game of the season will be played on September 11, the 22nd anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks that took down the World Trade Center in 2001 and claimed the lives of 2,977 victims (including the attack on the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93).
It's a no-brainer. The best way for the NFL to honor those victims and remember that terrible day would be to let the Giants host the Jets on that first Monday Night Football game.
