Now that the 2023 NFL schedule is out, the excitement can begin for the season's top matchups.
One of the late-season battles that will certainly have division and playoffs implications attached to it is when the Dallas Cowboys travel in Week 16 to take on the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Eve. Now, that contest will have some extra spice to it.
Cowboys' All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons has been working lately on his pass-rushing skills with recently retired offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth who played 16 seasons in the NFL and won Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams. On Friday, Parsons gave kudos to Whitworth via his Twitter account, and Miami Dolphins All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a little something to say about it.
Parsons didn't waste any time responding, as in less than five minutes and he gave a warning for what will happen during the showdown between the Cowboys and Dolphins.
The history of back and forth between Parsons and Hill goes back a while.
During the 2022 Pro Bowl Skills Competition, Parsons, who has exceptional 4.39 speed, beat Hill in the NFL's Fastest Man race. Parsons did admit that Hill is faster and wasn't giving his all in the race, but to see a guy his size move like that is always an experience.
Kick-off to the game can't come soon enough.
