The New York Giants have been active during this offseason. That being said, adding legitimate depth is a must in the NFL. They could still look look to add to their pass rush. That'd be a smart move for New York. There's plenty of talent left on the market.
The Giants were recently named a 'best fit' for four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Justin Houston.
The historic pass rusher would be a fit for the Giants, according to Matt Lombardo.
If there’s anything that matters above all else in Giants defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale’s system, it’s pressuring the quarterback. Likewise, there’s little Martindale enjoys more than blitzing. Houston could be an ideal fit for the Giants’ scheme, after all, he did produce 4.5 sacks, while garnering a 77.5 pass-rush grade from Pro Football Focus, playing under Martindale in 2021.
Houston totaled seven tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks last season for the Baltimore Ravens. Over his career, Houston has 111.5 sacks and 506 total tackles. He is a future hall of fame edge rusher.
Adding him to a Giants defensive line that has tons of young talent would be a very smart move for the entire team.
