Buffalo Bills Safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde

Josh Allen being on the cover isn't the only reason Bills Mafia should be excited about the new iteration of the classic football simulator.

With the football season inching closer, EA Sports is slow-dripping the players' ratings in the upcoming game. Needless to say, Buffalo has one of the best overall units in the entire game.

On August 18th, NFL fans will finally get their hands on the newest Madden video game and show off with their favorite players and teams.

Buffalo not only has one of the very best quarterbacks in the entire game, but one of the best secondaries. Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde both cracked the top ten in that category.

The safety duo are ranked 8th and 10th respectively. Poyer is coming in at a 90 overall with Hyde following close behind with an 89 overall ranking.

Hyde and Poyer are a dynamic duo who have been wreaking havoc on opposing offenses since joining forces with the Buffalo Bills.

While injuries reared their ugly head last season, forcing some to doubt their greatness, at the end of the day they are truly two of the very best to play the position.

Poyer and Hyde, in some regards, are getting the respect they deserve. The two have been a crucial part of one of the best defenses across the entire NFL for years.

Bills Mafia may think, and we agree, that their ratings might be a little bit low. It'll be up to Poyer and Hyde to let their game do the talking.

Madden might be needing to bump up both players overall a few extra points after they see them back on the field for the first time since early last season.

Take a bow, Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. It's more than deserved.
