The Buffalo Bills have had a busy offseason.

Brandon Beane has performed his wizardry to get the team in a good place, brought in some important pieces, and drafted well. Outside of that, Hamlin has continued his impressive road to recovery, Von Miller has been actively recruiting while nursing his ACL injury, Stefon Diggs and the team had a little hiccup, and so much more.

With each passing day, there's another storyline that quickly makes headlines across the national media, and today was no different.

The organization announced the departure of Ron Raccuia. Terry Pegula, reportedly, will take over the role as president with John Roth, Kathryn D'Angelo and Josh Dziurlilkowski assuming new roles and titles.

"We would like to thank Ron for his many years of hard work and dedication with the Bills and PSE," Pegula commented. "We wish him and his family the best of luck in his future endeavors."

Raccuia was the Executive Vice President of Pegula Sports and Entertainment and the face behind the new Buffalo Bills stadium build. Raccuia was the one in front of the microphone, talking about developments, and when fans could be expecting a look at the new stadium.

With the shift in command, it appears that Penny Semaia, who was just hired as the vice president of stadium relations, will be helping lead the charge with the new construction plans.

Semaia was hired after working as the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Student Life at the University of Pittsburgh. He will work closely with Bills vice president of stadium development John Polka and vice president of creative/stadium design Frank Cravotta during the construction phase of the Bills new stadium.

While not specifically outlining what drove the organization to the decision to make the change, Pegula had provided a quote for the future of the organization and the team. "After taking time over the past several months to evaluate the business side of our operation, we wanted to revamp and improve our structure." Pegula continued, "We have a tremendous amount of confidence in this management committee we have constructed. I have had a high level of trust and strong working relationships with John, Kathryn and Josh over the years and expect them each to successfully continue to lead our business operations in the years to come. Penny's wealth of experience at the collegiate level and personality will add to our team as he transitions into his new role with the Bills and our new stadium."

Here's hoping the change in command doesn't slow anything down or delay the development of the brand-new stadium.
