With 4,543 NFL passing attempts to his name, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill knows what it's like to air it out. But the 11-year NFL veteran is now giving a whole new meaning to that phrase.

According to a post shared by his wife, Lauren, on Instagram, Ryan Tannehill has added his pilot's license to a long list of career achievements. With that now in his back pocket, Tannehill issued a hilarious challenge to his Titans teammates.

"I was able to get my pilot's license. It's something that I spent a lot of time and a lot of effort to do," Tannehill told Titans media after OTAs on Wednesday. "It's a lot of fun. It's a little escape from me. It's something I have to be totally focused on in the moment and present in the moment but at the same time, it's an escape for me. So yeah, a lot of hard work went into it, but thankfully I was able to get that and excited to be a pilot."

Tannehill said that he'd already had the opportunity to take his family up in a plane after getting his license, but he was now extending the offer and challenging his teammates to go up in the plane with him.

"There's a lot of guys that are curious," said Tannehill. "They're like 'yeah, yeah, yeah' but we'll see when it comes time to take them up if they're actually going to go. I asked Treylon [Burks], I said 'you've already been on a small plane, you ready to go again?' and he said 'I think it was a one time thing for me,' so I don't know if it's going to be Treylon."

As for Titans head coach Mike Vrabel? He stepped to the podium immediately following Tannehill on Wednesday, and in classic Vrabel fashion, delivered a resounding "hell no" to those asking if he'd get in a plane with his quarterback.

It should be fun to see which (if any) Titans players rise to the occasion.
