There has been plenty of rumblings out of Halas Hall describing just how much Justin Fields has improved over the offseason.

On Wednesday, Chicago Bears starting left guard Teven Jenkins elaborated on what makes Fields so special at such a young age.

When speaking to reporters following the team's minicamp session, Jenkins noted Fields' maturity as one of the traits that sets the 24-year-old apart.

"I'll say his maturity. He carries himself, I would say, probably like a 10-year vet right now," Jenkins said on the biggest difference he sees in Fields. "Seeing how he commands that huddle and what he wants to see out of all of us, it's a wake-up call for me to see that I need to start pushing myself to get on his level because he's demanding a certain effort out of all of us."

That's been the sentiment on Fields since his rookie days with the Bears. His work ethic, will to win and maturity level are all levels above other players at his age.

There is no question that Fields possesses the intangibles necessary to win at a high level in the NFL. In 2023, Fields will be tasked with putting everything together and proving that the Bears can contend in the NFC North sooner than most think.
