The Chicago Bears will be playing real football in just a couple short months.
With OTAs and mandatory minicamp in the books, the next item on the agenda is training camp. Typically in late july, training camp is where we find out more about this roster and who will be on the team in 2023.
Recently, the Bears revealed the dates of this year's training camp.
The Bears will hold training camp from July 26 through August 14. Nine of these practices will be open to the public.
"We look forward to welcoming back our passionate fans, business and community partners to Halas Hall again this year,” Bears president and CEO Kevin Warren said in a statement. “This family-first experience is built for all Bears fans alike, with team practices being the center point and many other attractions, games and activities across our campus in Lake Forest throughout each open date.”
Fans must obtain a free ticket to attend. To secure a ticket, visit ChicagoBears.com/camp beginning Thursday, July 6, at 10 a.m. CT. Each fan can select up to four tickets per date, subject to availability.
There is a level of excitement around Halas Hall that has been lacking for several seasons. After an impressive sophomore campaign, it appears that Justin Fields is the answer at QB that Bears fans have been so desperate for. Add in several big offseason additions and there is plenty of reason for excitement.
The Bears will kick off the preseason against the Tennessee Titans on August 12.
