The Dallas Cowboys are known for being "America's Team". However, they're known all over the globe seeing as they are the most valuable sports franchise in the world, and football is more of a global sport these days with games being played in Europe.

So, it's only right that a member of the Dallas Cowboys would be a part of this upcoming NFL business venture. Michael Gallup, who has been with the Cowboys since 2018, is one of eight players that will head to Europe from June 19-25.

The purpose of this trip is to expand the NFL's reach to Europe by linking players and their brands to the fans of Germany and the United Kingdom.

"The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) is excited to announce the NFLPA Player Passport Tour. This initiative will establish a strong connection between NFL players, brands, retailers, and fans in Germany and the United Kingdom, cementing the NFLPA as the primary resource for accessing players. The touring experience allows NFL athletes to showcase their unique personalities, build personal brands, and connect with new fans and businesses, all while capitalizing on the increasing demand in the market for international games."-NFLPA.com

The other players joining Gallup are Gabe Davis (Buffalo Bills), Cylde Edwards-Helaire (Kansas City Chiefs), Josh Uche (New England Patriots), Kevin Byard (Tennessee Titans), Jamel Dean (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Marcel Dabo (Indianapolis Colts), and Efe Obada (Washington Commanders).

The NFLPA represents the exclusive player licensing rights for more than 2,000 current players. The league has been able to see huge revenue returns thanks to over 150 NFLPA licenses and global brand partners which include European-based companies.

The growth of American football in Europe has created unprecedented business opportunities for NFL players. Their personalities hold tremendous marketing and licensing power, fostering genuine connections between global brands and fans.

This is an amazing opportunity for Gallup and the NFL to expand the game of football overseas and around the world.
