Tennessee Titans starting right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere has been suspended by the National Football League for a violation of the league's gambling policy.

Petit-Frere received a six game suspension for placing a bet from inside the Titans' facility. The bet was not related to the Titans or the NFL in any way.

The Titans released the following statement after news of the suspension broke on Thursday morning:

Petit-Frere also apologized to his family, teammates, coaches, and the Titans fanbase. His mistake puts Tennessee in a very difficult position for 2023 as they look to replace a starting right tackle they were relying on.
