Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell and EA's Madden video game have seemingly been enemies since the moment that Dan Campbell took the job the with the Lions. They just can't seem to get it right with his model on the game.
Earlier this month, Madden put out the game for beta testers and Lions fans participating in test noted that the game had updated Dan Campbell's model after Campbell was finally able to make the annual owners meeting where they do the scans every year. Everyone thought things would finally work and Campbell would appear on the game in all his "one ass cheek and three toes" glory. That is not what happened. They instead did this.
I made plenty of jokes in our initial report, but I'm going to make more right now. This looks like Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs is wearing Dan Campbell's face. It looks Mrs. Doubtfire's mask after it got ran over by that truck. This thing looks like a Skrull halfway into changing to look like someone else. It's just difficult to look at. If they made a third sequel to The Ring, this picture is what the characters would look at before it crawls out of the TV in seven days and tries to kill you.
Ok, Now that we have that out of the way, A Reddit user uploaded a picture of Campbell on Madden Thursday and it looks like Madden may have gone back and made some corrections. It looks like they nailed it this time. Take a look.

That looks pretty good. There's some fans complaining in the comments that he doesn't look jacked enough, but that's something that can be focused on later. The thing that really matters is that they got Campbell's face ready. Maybe one of these years he can record his voice on there too and we can get some great audio content.
Now that this is finally fixed, get ready to watch the digital Dan Campbell raise the Lombardi trophy over his head when the game comes out in August.
