Mock drafts are never an agreeable topic for fans and media members in the NFL. Teams will never get 100% positive feedback on a draft, and that's just how opinions go.
Needs, talent, and value are all taken into consideration. It is a tough process for everyone involved.
That being said, the Tennessee Titans struck gold in the latest mock draft from Pro Football Focus.
In a unique scenario. the Titans were able to trade up to the sixth pick in the first round to draft Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud.
I don’t love C.J. Stroud as much as others, but he flashed more than enough potential against Georgia (92.2 PFF game grade) for an NFL team to buy in if he starts to slip in the draft. Tennessee jumps up from No. 11 to get its quarterback of the future and finally begin the rebuild. –Sam Monson
The speculation around Stroud has been strong during this process.
Right now, many believe that he will go one or two. One of the Panthers or Texans will select him to be their QB, according to many.
No one knows for sure, though. That is always how this season of the NFL goes. There's plenty of smoke. Some folks think that they know things that they don't.
One way or another – the Titans got their QB of the future in this mock draft, and it is a better option than Will Levis. The Kentucky QB has been a popular mock spot for the Titans as of late, either at eleven or in a trade up.
If Stroud somehow begins to slide like this, the Titans should jump on it.
