It was always going to be a busy offseason for the Las Vegas Raiders.

And as the calendar turns to draft week, Bleacher Report graded the Raiders' recent offseason moves, and to no surprise, the Raiders earned a passing grade.

Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report graded every team’s off-season moves. The Raiders received an overall grade of “B” for several moves deemed budget-friendly on both sides of the ball.

The Raiders mostly added budget free agents on defense, but that’s OK. They ranked 28th in yards allowed and 26th in points allowed last year, so they’re not going to get much worse defensively… It hasn’t been a spectacular offseason for the Raiders, which probably won’t make a huge leap in 2023. However, they’ve done a good job of turning over the roster and starting to build the team McDaniels and Ziegler want.

Las Vegas possesses 12 picks in the NFL Draft. The most pressing selection is the first-rounder that slots in at pick No. 7. Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler detailed that he wants a player that will fit the Raiders' philosophy while also being an instant contributor at that slot.

But the draft is also an imperfect science. And the pressure will certainly be on Las Vegas as the team hopes to improve after a disappointing 2022 campaign.
