Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is no stranger to the limelight.

Whether it's calling out the mayor of Cincinnati or hosting Saturday Night Live, Kelce is never shy in public.

So it shouldn't come as a major surprise that the superstar tight end ran into a small amount of "controversy" at Kelce Jam this weekend.

It's actually not a controversy at all — or at least it shouldn't be — but there are a few folks upset about how Kelce handled the Lombardi Trophy in front of a packed crowd.

Kelce chugged a beer that he poured down the trophy before spiking the beer can and the Lombardi Trophy.

Some fans found the moment disrespectful.

The only problem with the outrage is that Kelce appeared to spike a fake Lombardi Trophy. The Chiefs' real Lombardi trophies were on display at the draft in Kansas City this weekend.

Kelce always gets the people going, and while he's not immune from controversy, there's nothing for fans to be upset about here. Just Kelce having some fun and doing his thing like he always does. And no real Lombardi trophies, as far as we know, were harmed by the Pro Bowl tight end.
