Darnell Wright was considered by some analysts as the best offensive lineman in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The former Tennessee Vols standout was selected with the No. 10 overall pick by the Chicago Bears.

Wright, who is expected to play right tackle for the Bears after allowing zero sacks in the SEC last season, drew some laughs this weekend at his introductory press conference in Chicago.

The former five-star recruit told reporters that he isn't sure where the Bears want him to play, but he said he's willing to wherever the team needs him — even wide receiver.

Wright has a nice 40-yard dash time for an offensive lineman (5.01 seconds), but I don't think he'll be getting any wide receiver reps in Chicago.

While the comment from Wright was nothing more than a light-hearted moment during a press conference, it shows his willingness to put the team above himself. It also shows that he's willing to do whatever it takes to help the Bears reach their ultimate goal, which is, of course, to bring a Lombardi Trophy back to Chicago.
