The Chicago Bears are making a change to their front office personnel with the latest hire.
The Bears hired Mai Davis as an executive assistant on Wednesday evening. Davis has nearly 20 years of NFL experience working in the same role with the Detroit Lions (2001-2018) and Minnesota Vikings 2018-2019).
Davis arrives from the Big 10 where she served as an executive assistant to new Bears president/CEO Kevin Warren from 2019-2023. The timing of the hire, while being just one day before the draft, appears to be merely coincidental.
Under general manager Ryan Poles, the Bears have made an effort to place more women in impactful positions within the organization. Davis joins Ashton Washington (Director of Player Personnel) and Darby Dunnagan (Director of Video Operations.)
