Former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Darnell Wright was selected by the Chicago Bears with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Wright will reunite in Chicago with wide receiver Velus Jones Jr, his former Vols teammate.

Prior to Wright's selection on Thursday night, the last Tennessee player to be selected in the top 10 was Eric Berry in 2010.

Wright didn't attend the draft in Kansas City, but cameras were present to catch the moment the Bears called the former Vol to let him know he'd be starting his NFL career in Chicago.

Check out the special moment for Wright (via Tennessee's official Twitter account).

Wright was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. I'd say he lived up to the recruiting hype.
