We are entering the second to last week of the regular season, and teams who have not clinched a playoff berth are grasping for every possible scenario that can help them.
Well, the Miami Dolphins, who are in a tightly contested race in the AFC East, just got some of the worst news possible: Bradley Chubb, Xavien Howard, and Terron Armstead were all get ruled out ahead of their matchup against the Patriots; who are sitting right behind them in the division standings.
What makes the news even worse is veteran Eric Fisher -Armstead's immediate replacement- is also out. It's unclear as to what exactly the Dolphins decide to do, but it's likely Greg Little starts in Armstead's place.
There are a couple of options to replace Chub and undrafted rookie Kader Kohou will play in Howard's stead. The Dolphins also have Noah Igbinoghene and a couple of other players who could rotate with Kohou.
And, on top of all these stars, the Dolphins will be without emerging super star QB, Tua Tagovailoa who was ruled out earlier this week with a concussion.
