Tennessee Titans center Ben Jones has been named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, replacing Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey. Jones will join teammates Derrick Henry, Jeffery Simmons, and Morgan Cox in Las Vegas.
Jones, 33, receives the honor for the first time in his 11-year NFL career, and he could not be more deserving. Anyone who knows Titans football knows what Ben Jones has meant to this team during his seven seasons in Nashville. Not only is Jones an instrumental part of Tennessee's offensive line and elite rushing offense, he is tough as nails and a leader in the locker room.
Before 2022, Jones had missed just one game in his entire NFL career. After battling through a series of injuries this season, Jones was finally put on Injured Reserve after suffering his second concussion in the span of a month.
While Jones still has one more season under contract in Tennessee, his NFL future remains unknown for now. Regardless of what he decides this offseason, this honor is one that's been a long time coming.
Ben Jones, Pro Bowler. That's got a nice ring to it.
