The Chicago Bears have always been one of the most popular teams in, not only the NFL, but all of professional sports. But after a disastrous 2022 campaign, where do the Bears check in when it comes to popularity nationwide?
According to Lids, a top sports apparel and memorabilia retailer, the Bears sold the sixth most gear of any NFL team throughout the United States. Keep in mind, Bears gear was flying off the shelves despite an incredible deficit in talent and success.
Part of the reason the Bears were still near the top is due to Justin Fields’ rise to stardom. Fields’ jersey was a top seller in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
That’s right, Wisconsin. The state in which the Green Bay Packers play American tackle football.
It’s always interesting to see where certain teams stand in popularity. Even if the Bears are bringing up the rear in the NFL, there are plenty of fans around the world that will continue to support the team with their own hard-earned money.
