The Buffalo Bills playoffs are almost underway as the team gears up to take on the Miami Dolphins.
This will be the third time the Bills have taken on the Dolphins this season, with the two teams splitting the season series. Buffalo lost in heartbreaking fashion in Miami from a failure to execute late in the game.
Adversely, when the Dolphins came to Buffalo the Bills were able to clinch their third consecutive AFC East crown with a buzzer-beater field goal from Tyler Bass.
While the world focuses on the recovery of Damar Hamlin and the availability of Tua Tagovoila, there is another key aspect of the game that swings in the Bills' favor.
Buffalo got an unprecedented boost in that Miami has not fared well recently in these cold weather games. The Bills getting the two seed guarantees that the playoffs will run through Buffalo, outside of a potential AFC Championship matchup against the Chiefs.
The Bills are all too familiar with cold weather games and it immediately gives them the advantage in the matchup. It seems as though after Hamlin's injury, Buffalo has become the nation's darling in the NFL playoffs.
With cold weather hurting the Dolphins, the current forecasted temperature at kickoff sits at 33 degrees.
Just a few short weeks ago Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins' head coach, made headlines for his shirt talking about how he wished it were colder. Josh Allen had a brilliant troll of the head coach after their playoff-clinching victory over the Dolphins.
Based on recent statistics, McDaniel may get his wish. Unfortunately for him, he may not like the outcome depending on the weather.
The entire world will be tuning in to see the Bills' cinderella story continue.
Playoff Josh Allen is almost here. If history is any indication, he's going to be more than ready for the task at hand.
Bring a jacket, Dolphins. It's going to be chilly.
