After completing their first round of interviews, the Tennessee Titans have narrowed down the search for their next General Manager to three final candidates.

Titans Vice President of Player Personnel Ryan Cowden, Chicago Bears Assistant General Manager Ian Cunningham, and San Francisco 49ers Director of Pro Personnel Ran Carthon will all receive second interviews from the team, according to a report by Mike Garafolo.

This second round of interviews is expected to include Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, who will have his input on the candidates before the organization hires their next GM.

Vrabel has had “good and open conversations” with ownership about what the organization will be looking for this time around. Vrabel has been firm that he is comfortable with the level of involvement he will have in the hiring process and in the acquisition of players moving forward.

Now that the Arizona Cardinals are hiring former Titans Director of Player Personnel Monti Ossenfort for their GM opening, Tennessee will have their pick of the litter as the only current vacancy around the league.

With the Senior Bowl at the end of the month and NFL Draft prep beginning to get underway, a GM hire could happen by the end of the week.
